We’ve Accepted Amodu’s Plea for Keshi’s Recall – NFA The Nigeria Football Association (NFA) says it has accepted the plea by its National Technical Director,  Shaibu Amodu , for the return of Stephen Keshi as Super Eagles Head Coach. A statement by  Ademola Olajire , NFA’s Assistant Director (Communications), said the association’s Technical Committee accepted the plea to reconsider Keshi, made by Amodu on Monday. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) recalls that Amodu had been announced on October 16th to take over the senior squad, hours after the team’s 3-1 defeat of Sudan in Abuja. However, in a letter dated October 27th and addressed to NFA chairman  Amaju Pinnick,  through the Technical Committee Chairman, Amodu had pleaded that Keshi be reconsidered for the two matches.
