Call for Buhari’s Impeachment: Nigeria not a banana republic, APC replies PDP

ABUJA – Following a call by the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP to the National Assembly to initiate an impeachment process against President Muhammadu Buhari, the All Progressives Congress, APC has told the PDP that Nigeria was not a banana republic. The party also dismissed another call by the PDP to sack Ministers and the governor of the Central Bank, Mr. Godwin Emefiele. In a statement by the national secretary of APC, Mai Mala Buni, APC reminded the PDP that Nigeria was a country governed by a set of laws.
