Many football fans would agree Gareth Barry has always been somewhat underrated. Sure, the  Everton  midfielder has never been the most extravagantly gifted footballer, but you don't get towards 600  Premier League appearances without being an effective player. However, Roberto Martinez stating that Barry is up there with Sir Bobby Moore, Sir Bobby Charlton,  Gary Lineker  and Bryan Robson seems just  ever so slightly  over the top. Talking about his stand-in captain ahead of the defeat to Swansea, the Everton boss said: “For me, he is one of the best English players ever. He could end up with 600 Premier League appearances this season. The way he behaves and the way he plays you can build a team around him.” We could spend time trying to explain how the football world has reacted to this incredible claim. Two-time champions league winner and former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has categorically denied writing a 'love letter' to Manchester United indicating his interest in the managerial position currently occupied by his 'friend and mentor', Louis Van Gaal. Yesterday, Man U captain Wayne Rooney announced the birth of his 3rd child, a son named Kit Joseph Rooney. And today, he shared a photo of his newborn son taken at just a few minutes old  'Meeting Kit for the first time. Home time now,' the football ace captioned the pic shared on Twitter..

Wayne   Rooney  and wife Coleen announced the arrival of their new baby boy today. Their new bundle of joy has been named Kit Joseph  Rooney.  They both took to Twitter to announce the news, writing: 'Our gorgeous little boy arrived today. Kit Joseph  Rooney . 8Ib 1oz. We are over the moon.' They already have six-year-old Kai and Klay, two. Congrats to them.
