Mourinho started Martial against Middlebrough on Saturday and he equalized for the Red Devils, as they came from a goal down to win 2-1 at Old Trafford. Martial has found opportunities limited of late and it led to his agent, Philippe Lamboley, talking up a January move for the player. Lamboley even claimed that he in talks with La Liga side, Sevilla, over a loan move. But Mourinho has asked Martial to pay more attention to him, citing the way he handled Henrikh Mkhitaryan as proof. “He played, he created, he scored, he fought. I think he was very positive,” Mourinho said after the game. “I know that he is a top talent. I knew Mkhitaryan was a top talent and I was not playing him. “In this moment he plays even left-back when the team is winning and needs to defend with a little bit more balance. “So Anthony has to lis...

Chelsea extended their winning run to 13 matches on Saturday afternoonz, before the Reds claimed a 1-0 win over Manchester City at Anfield later in the day. The win means Liverpool are still six points behind leaders Chelsea, while City are now 10 points adrift. “How I said before, we cannot look at Chelsea,” Klopp told a news conference after City game on Saturday night. “They are obviously unbelievably strong of course. They are in an outstanding run. They are in a 13-game run – not bad. “But can you imagine how annoying it is when you win 13 games in a row and [we] are only six points behind? “I’m pretty sure they don’t think about this, so why should we? It is completely not important what happens in this moment, apart from that we win games. That’s the only thing we are re...

Grant Leadbitter gave the visitors a second-half lead, before goals from Anthony Martial and Paul Pogba won it for the Red Devils. Mourinho says he did not enjoy the victory over his former assistant, Aitor Karanka too much. “It’s a very good feeling, as I was expecting I don’t feel the same happiness because my brother is on the other side,” Mourinho told the BBC. “Aitor Karanka did his job amazing away but my brother is sad so I’m sad. “My players were phenomenal. We managed to do something I love – bring the fans to the pitch. The last 15 mins were 70,000 on the pitch against 11.” On why Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s goal was disallowed, Mourinho added: “(Referee) Mr Mason is the one that knows...

Donald Trump's epic (and childish) New Year message to all

Image
People have been referring to the President Elect of the United States of America, Donald Trump, as a petty man and he doesn't seem to care. If anything, he seems to be doing his best to live up to that reputation as can be seen in the new year message he sent out today. America is in for an interesting four years if he continues this way.
