A former minister of education Olaiya Oni has died at the age of 72. He died today at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) in Owo, Ondo state after an undisclosed ailment. Family sources say his body has been deposited at the morgue while preparation for his burial is ongoing. May his soul rest in peace Amen.

A man stopped to fill up his petrol tank  last week  and got the surprise of his life when a huge snake reared its head from behind the pump.  The snake had disguised itself under the petrol pump. The man, Adzy Heist said he was driving by the Sydney Airport when he stopped to refuel at a Shell petrol station and noticed a large carpet snake with a head the size of his fist trying to blend in with the long black hose of the pump. 18-year-old Nicole and Jonas Maines were born identical twin boys. Nicole who was named Wyatt at birth, recently made the brave decision to undergo a sex reassignment surgery. "Being a girl just felt right," Nicole said "It felt like that's what I was supposed to be, and I've never looked back. I've never felt like I made the wrong decision. I've never felt like I'm doing the wrong thing with my life. I just knew this is exactly where I'm supposed to be right now. I knew that I was trans when I was 3 years old. Well, I didn't know trans because I didn't know there was a word for it, but I just knew that in my head and my heart that I was supposed to be a girl." For her parents Kelly and Wayne Maines, it was puzzling at first. "I knew that Nicole was different. I didn't know what it was. Kaduna state governor, Nasir El Rufai yesterday said that all those who are not happy with the appointments he's made since becoming governor  can go  and climb Kufena Mountain and fall . El-Rufai expressed his anger during the question and answer session at the 4th town hall meeting with stakeholders from Kaduna Central zone. “If you are not happy with appointments made, you can go and climb Kufena Mountain and fall. It was what you voted that you got because we are aware that there are people who did not vote for us, in fact they worked against us. But now they claim to be APC members and loyal to the party. We know such people. And so there is no way they would expect anything from us. You didn’t vote us but you want appointments. What you will get is zero.
