Fani-Kayode has suggested that God was behind the Nigerian Senate’s rejection of Ibrahim Magu as the chairman of the EFCC.
The upper chamber on Thursday, December 15, rejected President Muhammadu Buhari's nomination based on the security report sent by the Department of State Service (DSS).
Reacting to the rejection of Magu, Femi Fani-kayode who has been arrested by the anti-graft agency twice suggested the rejection of the EFCC boss was as an act of divine intervention.
The former minister via his Facebook page on Thursday said the Senate rejection of Magu was in fulfillment of the bible verse which says “touch not my anointed and do my prophets no harm".
Some Nigerians who shared the sentiments expressed by the former minister also joined him in celebrating Magu's rejection.
