Greedy 2 meter python dies after being trapped, burned by locals in Delta state (photos)

- A voracious python was found dead stuck in an iron fence in Delta state
- The snake's gluttony killed him after he devoured a dog and tried to squeeze himself through the fence
- It was later found by a local worker who took photos of the animal and shared them online
A fat python died after it was stuck in a fence and was not able to free itself from iron rods for several hours in Warri, Delta state.

The reptile's last meal – a dog – played a bad joke on him making his belly extremely swollen.
The 2 meter unlucky snake was found by one of the locals who then took to social media to share the snaps of the animal.

Hon Johnbull Cleopas wrote:"Glory be to God Almighty... I went to my site this morning to do little work and stumbled into this serpent already trapped dead in my fence...
Guess what? I burnt the evil to helll... I say back to sender in Jesus name, Amen..."

The python is believed to be more than two meters long
Initially frightened that the python might be still alive Mr Cleopas called his neighbours to check the carcass.
Curious locals cut it stomach open and found a dead dog inside, then they took a decision to burn both the snake and the pooch.

The incident reportedly occured in July this year, however, the images of it went viral only now.
Several social media expressed their dissapointment with the way the snake died.
Amyh Emburu said: "What an absurd death... Poor python! It was a big glutton, I think... "
