Super Falcons of Nigeria have emerged African champions for a record eight time and as usual Twitter is buzzing.
Desire Oparonozie's strike in the 86th was the difference as the Falcons beat their opponent to the title for the fourth time in a final.

- Two herdsmen are presently in trouble in Ekiti state for possessing firearms and destroying farmland valued at N850,000 - The herdsmen’s actions violated the Prohibition of Cattle and Other Ruminants Grazing Law in Ekiti state - Their case was adjourned till Friday, January 27 while the accused have been remanded in prison Ekiti governor Ayo Fayose made the law under which the two herdsmen are being tried for destroying the farmland. For violating the Prohibition of Cattle and Other Ruminants Grazing Law in Ekiti state, two herdsmen are presently cooling their heels in detention in the state according to a report by The Nation. The two herdsmen identified as Momodu Rebo (19) and Isiaka Idris (22) were yesterday remanded in prison custody by an Ado-Ekiti Chief Magistrate’s Court for destroying a farmland at Apoto Farm Settlement in Eporo, Emure Local Government Area.
