On October 24, 2016, It was revealed that Operatives of the Special Fraud Unit (SFU) in Lagos arrested a suspected fraudster, Babatunde Oyebode, for continuous attempts to swindle high profile Nigerians and others. Oyebode, 23, was alleged to have sent threat and blackmail messages to the complainants through a website, naijagistlive.com, demanding huge sums of money to take down posts or comments. Well on March 19, 2016, in the comment section of a post on the said website, a group of people tried to expose his vicious antics, but were unsuccessful as it did not gain the desired attention. The US Republican presidential candidate's star which was awarded to him in 2007 and located at 6801 Hollywood Blvd, was smashed up early today by one Jamie Otis, who took credit for the destruction. Otis posed as a construction worker to fool anyone walking past. Smashing the embedded terrazzo and brass star to bits, he claims he intends to auction off the removed star to raise money for the women who have come forward to accuse Trump of sexually assaulting them over the decades. Los Angeles police are investigating the case.

According to reports from top Spanish paper, Marca, Super Eagles/Watford striker Odion Ighalo and 93 others including his ex-Granada teammate, Diego Buonanotte might face a two-year jail term after facts emerged he was involved  in a bribery scandal while he played with Granada in Spain. According to the report, Ighalo and 93 others bribed their way through driving tests in 2012 and 2013 as they hired someone to sit for exams and the striker potentially faces a jail term of 2 years and fine of  €3,000 if an open trial is to be held according to the provincial district attorney’s office of Granada. According to the report, the Super Eagles star and 93 others paid between €1,500 and €2,500 to students who wrote their driving exams for them and in Ighalo's case, after the exam- the errors from his sheet were deleted. An Egyptian woman is believed to be the fattest woman on the planet afterher weight ballooned to 79 stone. Iman Ahmad Abdulati, 36, has not left her home for 25 years because of her weight problem. She needs help going to the toilet as she can no longer walk there herself. ccording to El Arabiya, Iman was born weighing a staggering five kilograms. She was diagnosed with elephantiasis – a parasitic infection that causes extreme swelling in a person’s limbs and arms. Her family believe she suffered a stroke at the age of 11 which left her bedridden and piling on weight. After years of desperate attempts to deal with the issue, her sister Chaymaa’ Ahmad Abdulati has now gone public with the problem in the hope of getting help. Iman currently lives in the family home with her sister and mother.

An Arab bride has been dumped by her husband just a few days after their marriage. The woman was reportedly dumped by her husband after he saw her with no make-up. According to Gulf News, this revelation was made by a psychologist, Dr Abdul Aziz Asaf, who counselled the unidentified woman. The doctor said the 34-year-old Arab groom divorced his 28-year-old bride because the husband believed she did not look as pretty as before the wedding and accused her of deceiving him by using so many cosmetics, including fake eyelashes. Dr Abdul Aziz Asaf, consultant psychologist revealed that his clinic received a request from the woman to help her overcome her psychological suffering after her divorce. Operatives of the Special Fraud Unit (SFU) in Lagos have arrested a suspected fraudster, Babatunde Oyedepo, popularly known as Baudex on IG, for allegedly attempting to swindle businessman Femi Otedola.‎ The Nation reports that Oyedepo, 23, was alleged to have sent threat and blackmail messages to the complainants and other high profile Nigerians through a website, naijagistlive.com, demanding huge sums of money. Oyedepo, a resident of Sixth Avenue in Festac Town, was alleged to have posted a superimposed nude pictures of a lawyer on his website, alleging that she had been sleeping with her boss and other clients. According to the police, the suspect demanded N3.5million from the lawyer to remove the inappropriate picture from the site, which the victim could not afford. EFCC operatives have arrested former media aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan, Reuben Abati. He was arrested today and he is being interrogated for allegedly receiving some money from former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki who is currently being tried for misappropriation of $2.1 billion arms procurement fund. ‎Abati is expected to spend the night at the EFCC office today.
